Bolton is under pressure to earn promotion to the Championship thanks to a solid start to the year and a talented roster; anything less than a play-off finish would be viewed as disappointing.
Unexpectedly, Steve Evans, the manager of Stevenage, stated that he would adore for Bolton Wanderers to be promoted to the Championship this year.
Before a single ball in League One was kicked, The Trotters were one of the early season favorites for promotion, and after 10 games, they have lived up to that standard.
Bolton had a strong campaign last year but was narrowly defeated by Barnsley in the semi-final, preventing them from reaching the play-off final.
However, the Lancashire club went back during the summer, made adjustments to their squad, and now appears poised to at the very least compete for a play-off spot once more.
Bolton’s most recent victory came on Tuesday night against Evans’ Stevenage, and the Scotsman, who played for Bolton when he was younger, said he’d like to see them get promoted.
