There have been several job openings for a new store, thus The Range is expected to open in Hucknall. The supplier of home, recreational, and garden goods operates three locations in Nottinghamshire, one of which is located in Lady Bay Retail Park. Nottingham, a store in Sutton-in-Ashfield, and Castle Retail Park in Radford.
Though the location of the store is currently unknown, the retailer has recently posted a number of opportunities for a Hucknall location on the internet job board Indeed. The job openings were announced on October 24 and include retail assistant, cleaning assistant, shop manager, warehouse supervisor, and store operations manager.
The job posting states: “We are seeking to hire a part-time retail assistant due to our plans for growth and sustained success. As the face of The Range, you will represent the company by providing excellent customer service and positioning The Range as a distinctive one-stop shop.
The location of the store has not yet been announced, however rumours have it that it will be in the old Wilko location on Central Walk in Hucknall. The Wilko Brand, website, and intellectual property were recently acquired by The Range after an agreement was reached with the administrators.
