Bristol City sign a 15-goal attacker

Blackburn Rovers and Bristol City are interested in Motherwell striker Theo Bair

In an attempt to strengthen their respective offensive departments, Blackburn Rovers and Bristol City are both being linked with a summer raid for the Scottish Premiership attacker. The 24-year-old has a deal with Fir Park that expires in June 2025.

Having joined his current club just over a year ago, Bair, a Canada international with two caps to his name, has quickly established himself as one of their main players. He has played for them in 40 games in all competitions, 33 of which have been in the league, and he has contributed 15 goals and 6 assists.

According to the Daily Mail’s most recent update on his future, his performance has put him on Rovers’ and the Robins’ radar in the Championship.

Before being selected by the Vancouver Whitecaps, Bair, who is from Ottawa, Ontario, spent time as a youth player with the Ottawa Royals, Capital United, and West Ottawa SC.

After progressing through the MLS team’s academy ranks and representing their various youth levels, he played 38 competitive games for their first squad, scoring three goals.

In order to gain experience, the 6′ 3″ forward also had a brief loan period at BC Place in HamKam, Norway.
Then, in 2022, St Johnstone enticed him to move permanently outside of Canada, although he struggled to have an impact with the Saints.

Bair played for McDiarmid Park for a year and a half, but before they let him go, he only managed one goal in 34 games.

After giving him another chance last year, Motherwell has turned him into their key attacking weapon.
