Deshaun Watson did not participate in Monday’s outdoor practice, giving the Cleveland Browns a quarterback issue. He reportedly threw several things inside, which is a positive indication. He could still miss the game against the San Francisco 49ers, though. That being the case According to Brad Stainbrook of the OBR, P.J. Walker will replace Dorian Thompson-Robinson as the Browns’ starting quarterback.

With seven starts under his belt with the Panthers, Walker has more NFL experience. Though not significantly more, it is still more experience than the rookie, and with the 49ers defense coming to town, that counts.

Walker offers you the best chance to defeat San Francisco; without Watson, it might be very impossible. Given how the offensive line has battled and how one of the finest defensive lines in football will be facing them, his mobility and the ability to extend plays with his legs will be essential.
