Three Manchester United players may make their League Cup debuts on Tuesday against Crystal Palace, according to Erik ten Hag.

When Roy Hodgson’s team visits Old Trafford on Saturday for their Premier League match, United will begin their trophy defense against them.

Mason Mount is in the running to make a comeback after being out since late August, so Ten Hag is anticipated to make some adjustments to his side after being hampered by a number of injuries in recent weeks.

On the final day of the summer transfer window, Sofyan Amrabat, a loanee from Fiorentina, joined the team and came on as a sub.

According to The Manchester Evening News, Casemiro, who has started each of United’s seven games this season, may not play the whole 90 minutes against Palace.

Additionally, Ten Hag might utilize tonight’s game as a chance to give Altay Bayindir, the goalie, his professional debut.

As Andre Onana’s backup, the 25-year-old transferred from Fenerbache to United during the summer transfer window.

The Cameroon international could miss as many as seven games for United in the New Year should his country progress well in the Africa Cup of Nations with ten Hag likely to be keen for Bayindir to get some game time before then.

Dan Gore is another who could be in line for his first-team debut.

The 19-year-old midfielder, who has started just one of United’s previous five games, could get the same opportunity as Hannibal Mejbri after the Tunisian international impressed against Burnley last weekend.

Alejandro Garnacho will look for a start versus Palace among other potential changes.

The Argentinean international has made just 12 minutes in three substitute appearances since United’s loss to Tottenham, after starting United’s first two games of the season.
