WARNING; Great Task For Chelsea Manager Ahead of Fulham Clash..

Taking a look at Monday’s events in European soccer:

ENGLAND

Chelsea meets Fulham and is seeking only its second Premier League victory of the year. The 2021 Champions League champions are still having difficulties on the field even though they hired Mauricio Pochettino as their new manager and signed a number of players throughout the offseason.Chelsea had a terrible season last year, missing out on the Champions League and placing near the bottom of the standings.

Although it has only defeated newly promoted Luton in the league this year, it enters the match against Fulham having defeated Brighton in the English League Cup midweek. In the league, Fulham has so far won twice, tied twice, and lost twice.

If Fiorentina defeats Serie A’s bottom team Cagliari, they will be optimistic that they can tie third-place Napoli on points. While Claudio Ranieri’s Cagliari is still searching for its first win back in Serie A and has just two points from six games, Fiorentina has only lost one game, to league-leading Inter Milan. Sassuolo, which trails Fiorentina by two points, will be fired up after triumphs over Juventus and Inter in its most recent two games. On Monday, it welcomes Monza. Both clubs are seeking to avenge losses when Torino hosts Hellas Verona.

Both teams are seeking their second victory in the Spanish league this year when Las Palmas meets Celta Vigo. From seven games, both teams have five points. The solitary victory for newly promoted Las Palmas thus far came in a round against Granada. Four rounds prior, Celta defeated last-place Almeria. This season, Las Palmas has three home games without a loss. In league play, Celta has defeated Las Palmas three times in a row.
