It is believed that Tom Jordan has joined the Gallagher Premiership team.
Despite strong pressure from the United Rugby Championship team to keep him at Scotstoun, the Bristol Bears were able to entice new Scotland international fly-half Tom Jordan away from Glasgow Warriors.
According to a number of sources, the Bristol Bears have agreed to pay approximately £300,000 each season to recruit Jordan, who was born in New Zealand, for three years before the 2025–2026 campaign begins. With current starter AJ MacGinty turning 35 this season and having just lost out on England and Harlequins star Marcus Smith, the Bears have been reported to be searching for a new top-tier fly-half.
After just qualifying for selection through residency, Jordan earned his first two caps for Scotland this autumn. Since joining Glasgow in 2021 from Super6 team the Ayrshire Bulls, Jordan has emerged as a crucial member of the team. He participated in every league game last season as the Warriors defeated the Blue Bulls 21-16 in the road final in Pretoria, shocking the odds and winning the URC championship in 2023–2024.
The 26-year-old has been competing against fellow Scottish international Adam Hastings for the number 10 jersey at Warriors this season, and Glasgow was allegedly eager to hold onto him. As a result, he has played a handful of games at inside centre.
