d for months.Despite Taiwo Awoniyi’s injury absence, Nottingham Forest head coach Steve Cooper has stated his confidence in him, according to Soccernet.

Awoniyi has been a very important player for Nottingham Forest this season. Last season, he scored six goals in Forest’s last four games to help them stay alive in the Premier League.

He scored three goals in the Tricky Trees’ first three games of this season, which was off to an explosive start.

He hasn’t scored in his last three games, though, since he returned from the Nigerian team’s international break. The 24-year-old hitman was also forced to miss Saturday’s match between Nottingham Forest and Crystal Palace due to a groyne injury.

Then it was determined that he would not be able to work for at least a month. He will now be unable to attend Forest’s upcoming Premier League matches against Luton Town, Liverpool, and Aston Villa.

Cooper, the Forest manager, is yet optimistic that Awoniyi would perform well after his injury absence.

Cooper was quoted by Nottinghampost as saying, “Of course, it is a blow, he’s [Awoniyi] been our man up front.”

He’s been away for a month. During the contest with Brentford, he did it.

He has previously sustained an injury and recovered very well, so he is confident in his ability. He’ll promise to do that.

“We’ll work as quickly as we can to get T into therapy and rehabilitation. We’ll offer him all the assistance we can because we know he’ll be eager to get back in touch with us and will have a nice attitude about it.

When Awoniyi returned from his injury absence last season, his goals kept Nottingham Forest in the race.
