EXCLUSIVSE; Former Leeds United player predicts his team to Come in QPR Game”

Jon Newsome, a former Leeds United defender, predicts that Joe Rodon will start in Liam Cooper’s stead for the Whites against QPR on Wednesday.

In the middle of Leeds’ defense against Southampton on Saturday, Cooper paired Pascal Struijk as the Whites fell to the Saints 3-1.

However, they will have a quick chance to recover because struggling QPR will be visiting Elland Road on Wednesday night.

When the R’s call, Daniel Farke ought to reinstate Rodon to the starting lineup and yank Cooper out for Newsome.

Struijk, in his opinion, performed better at Southampton and ought to preserve his position.

Daniel Farke needs to put Rodon back in the starting lineup and replace Cooper with Newsome when the R’s call.

He believed that Struijk fared better at Southampton and should keep his job.

“I think Struijk did a lot better. He was the one who played on the front foot.

“It still did not help us with the unbalanced bit and he’s not comfortable coming out on the right hand side.

“Coops, he wasn’t at his best today. I would say Rodon’s going to come in for Cooper.”

Wednesday’s visitors QPR are inside the drop zone after a poor start to the season and have won just two of their nine league games so far.

The R’s last win at Elland Road came in 2013.
