Following the approval of the Northfleet Harbourside project’s outline planning, Damian Irvine, the chief executive of Ebbsfleet, hailed “a great day for the club.”

Together with amenities that will support the club’s long-term sustainability, the expansive plans to develop the region in and around the Fleet’s current Stonebridge Road home include the construction of a new, 8,000-seat multipurpose stadium.

It’s already been years in the making – and there’s much more work ahead – but Mr Irvine couldn’t have been happier with the decision.

“This is a massive moment in the club’s history and that’s not to overstate it,” he said.

With this latest development, we are confident that the club will be taken to a greater level in the nearest future.
