Strong attacker Eribe Doro has rejoined the Bradford Bulls on a two-week loan from Super League leaders Hull Kingston Rovers, the team announced.

Before departing at the end of the previous season, the 24-year-old, who had made 31 appearances since joining in August 2023, was a clear favourite among the supporters.

In 2024, Doro was chosen as the Telegraph & Argus Player of the Year, the ASN Doors Hitman of the Year, the Coaches’ Player of the Year, the Players’ Player of the Year, and the Fans’ Player of the Year.

Given that widespread recognition of his sensational displays, it was little surprise when he earned himself a move to Craven Park.

Crucially, Doro comes into contention for Bulls’ Good Friday trip to the Shay to face Betfred Championship leaders Halifax tomorrow.

Speaking to the T&A about Doro’s return to the club, Bradford head coach Brian Noble said: “I’m really glad to have him back.

“We’ve got an association with our ex-players and there was always a bit of an unwritten commitment that if at all possible, they could come back and help if they’re not playing football at their parent club.

“That option was there with Eribe, he’s coming back, and we’re hoping he’s going to make a difference to our side.”
