After being included in the Salford Red Devils’ 21-man squad for tonight’s match against the Leeds Rhinos, Pye has been called up by his parent club and may play for the Red Devils in the Betfred Super League this week.
According to a statement on the Raiders website, Jamie may rejoin the team later in the season because of the dual-registration deal between the two clubs, even though parent club Salford has first choice on its playing personnel.
After playing for the Raiders six times in the second half of 2024, Pye rejoined the team prior to the 2025 season.
He has now made eight more appearances for the team across all competitions.

“We are happy to see Pye get a chance in the Super League with his parent club, even if we are sad to lose a player of his calibre. Pye made a strong start to the Betfred Championship campaign.
“Everyone at the club wishes Jamie well ahead as he steps up to Super League.”
