Francis Lee, a former England and Manchester City striker, has passed away at the age of 79, according to the Premier League team.
Between 1967 and 1974, Lee, who served briefly as City’s chairman in the 1990s, scored 148 goals in 330 games for the team.

Everyone at Manchester City wants to express their sympathies to Francis’ friends and family during this extremely trying period.
After starting his playing career at Bolton, Lee transferred from City to Derby in 1974. After making his full international debut in 1968, he earned 27 England caps, recording 10 goals, and participated in the 1970 World Cup in Mexico.

He will be deeply missed, according to his wife Gill and children Charlotte, Jonny, and Nik, who also appreciate everyone for their kind thoughts.
