Salford Red Devils host Hull FC in the final game of Super League Round 15 and the team news has now been confirmed.

John Cartwright will be hoping for an immediate reply after his side’s shock loss last week at home to Castleford Tigers, whereas Paul Rowley will just be hoping that his side can show some resistance as their torrid season continues.

They have been bolstered by four new loanees this week and those fresh bodies were all named to their 19-man squad with Championship man Kobe Rugless handed the number 55 shirt, highlighting just how many youngsters and loanees the Red Devils have had to blood in 2025.

Cartwright confirmed that everyone who had played against Castleforf was fit to play again, which may indicate an unchanged lineup. Hull FC made just one change to their 21-man roster, replacing Will Hutchinson with Logan Moy.

Ahead of the game this afternoon, the lineups for both teams have now been finalised.

Salford Red Devils team news

All four new loanees are named with two of those starting in Cain Robb and Dan Russell. The Red Devils are actually unchanged in their backs which has been a rarity for Paul Rowley.

Kai Morgan drops out for Cain Robb whilst Dan Russell replaces Shane Wright. Justin Sangare also misses out on the bench with the returning Joe Bullock joined by Harvey Wilson and the other loanees Kobe Rugless and Tom Whitehead.

Salford Red Devils XIII: Nathan Connell; Jonny Vaughan, Chris Hankinson, Toby Warren, Sam Hill; Esan Marsters, Ryan Brierley; Chris Hill, Cain Robb, Jack Ormondroyd; Dan Russell, Matty Foster; Joe Shorrocks

Interchanges: Harvey Wilson, Joe Bullock, Kobe Rugless, Tom Whitehead

Hull FC team news

Cartwright had confirmed Liam Watts to have suffered a setback but his actual squad from the game against Cas came through fine and that has seen the starting XIII remain the same.

Two changes are made on the bench though as Jack Charles and Brad Fash come in for Denive Balmforth and Matty Laidlaw, with John Cartwright perhaps using the clash against Salford as a chance to give Fash and Charles some much-needed game time. It marks the first time Fash has played since Round 11 with the forward playing primarily in the reserves or on dual registration.

Jordan Rapana continues at full-back in Will Pryce’s absence whilst centres Zak Hardaker and Ed Chamberlain continue in the pack.

Hull FC XIII: Jordan Rapana; Harvey Barron, Tom Briscoe, Davy Litten, Lewis Martin; Cade Cust, Aidan Sezer; Herman Ese’ese, Amir Bourouh, Liam Knight; Zak Hardaker, Ed Chamberlain; Yusuf Aydin

Interchanges: Jack Ashworth, Sam Eseh, Jack Charles, Brad Fash
