Zak Gilsenan, a former midfielder for Blackburn Rovers, has signed a two-year contract with Grimsby Town.
The 22-year-old left Rovers at the end of his contract, making him a free agent.
In August 2023, he made his senior debut against Walsall in the Carabao Cup, scoring in his five outings for the Championship team.

“He’s a really good player with a lot of potential, excellent on the ball, and we are really excited to start working with him,” Mariners manager David Artell stated on the team’s website.
