BBC Radio Manchester broadcast the AB Sundecks 1895 Cup semi-final draw live this afternoon, preceding Oldham’s Betfred Championship matchup with Featherstone Rovers.

As they get ready to host Featherstone Rovers during the weekend of May 17–18, Oldham RLFC is now only 80 minutes away from making history by making their first-ever trip to Wembley.

The Rovers are the only team left that has won the competition. They defeated York at Wembley in 2021, although they lost to Leigh in the final at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium the following year.

The Bradford Bulls and York Knights will face off in the other semi-final.

Bradford will be attempting to make their first appearance in an AB Sundecks 1895 Cup final, while Knights coach Mark Applegarth hopes to exact revenge for their 2021 loss to Featherstone.

The Bulls would make their spiritual comeback to Wembley with a victory this round, marking their first appearance at the stadium since their defeats in the Challenge Cup finals in 1996 and 1997.

The weekend of May 17–18 will see both semi-finals.

Each semi-final winner will receive a golden ticket to the sixth AB Sundecks 1895 Cup Final, which will take place on Saturday, June 7 at Wembley Stadium.

The Women’s Betfred Challenge Cup Final and the Men’s Betfred Challenge Cup Final will be featured alongside the 1895 Cup Final as part of the RFL’s tripleheader showcase.

The national stadium will also host the Year 7 Boys’ Champion Schools Final, as is customary.
