Michael Reindorf, a striker for Cardiff City, has signed a loan deal with Newport County for the 2025–2026 campaign.
The 20-year-old, who joined Cardiff in the summer of 2024 after being released by Norwich City, made four appearances for the Bluebirds last season.
He played on loan for Bristol Rovers in League One during the second part of 2024–25, however he only made four substitute appearances as the Pirates were demoted.
Reindorf, who was born in London, will now have the opportunity to establish himself in League Two.

“He’s a really good addition to what we already have,” announced David Hughes, the manager of Newport.
“He is quite energetic and capable of posing a threat to the area behind him.
“I’d also like to thank Cardiff City for trusting us to work with their young player and to help him develop, whilst understanding our responsibility to ensure that we deliver a successful team on a consistent basis.”
After goalie Nik Tzanev, defender Lee Jenkins, midfielder Matt Smith, and striker Ged Garner, Reindorf is Newport’s sixth summer acquisition.
