As the Leeds United attacker is with Spain’s Under-21 during the international break, Mateo Joseph has impressed Andres Garcia, the right-back for Aston Villa.
Given regular opportunities to display his skills, the 21-year-old attacker has had a breakthrough season with the Whites.
At the beginning of the season, Daniel Farke depended heavily on Joseph; but, in recent months, the Spanish youth’s playing time has decreased.
At Elland Road, Joel Piroe has been the starting number nine, but Joseph has established himself with Spain’s youth, scoring in their 2-2 tie with Czechia Under-21 on Friday, March 21.
Joseph incredible at Leeds United as Villa compatriot impressed
Garcia believes Joseph is an incredible player after showcasing his talent at Leeds.
The Villa youngster has been astonished by the level of the 21-year-old’s performance with Spain’s Under-21 side.
Farke hasn’t got best of Joseph at Elland Road

Joseph has struggled at Leeds this season, and his frustrations have been laid bare as he hasn’t started in the last 14 league matches.
Farke relied on the 21-year-old at the start of the campaign, but his lack of impact in the final third made the German manager change things around.
The Spain Under-21 international is playing second fiddle to Piroe at the West Yorkshire outfit, and the former Swansea star has justified his place in the starting lineup.
Farke is gunning for Premier League promotion at Leeds in the current campaign and will need to rely on his best players in the final stretch.

It wouldn’t be surprising to see Joseph warming the bench in the final eight fixtures of the Championship after being an unused substitute as the Whites dropped points against QPR in the 2-2 draw at Loftus Road on 15 March.
If and when Leeds get back into the Premier League, it will be interesting to see what the future holds for the Spanish youngster.
The 21-year-old has struggled for game time in the Championship and may look to leave next summer if things don’t change.
