With Thimothee Lo-Tulata returning on loan to Doncaster Rovers, HULL CITY has acted quickly to acquire Dillon Phillips, the custodian leaving Rotherham United, as a backup to Ivor Pandur.
Phillips, 30, a former custodian for Charlton Athletic, has agreed to a two-year contract with the Tigers, with the possibility of an additional year if the club so chooses. Officially, he will start on July 1.

After two seasons with the Millers, Phillips just left the team when they decided not to extend his contract, which was set to expire at the end of June.

Hull City goalkeeper Thimothee Lo-Tutala has joined Doncaster Rovers for a second loan spell at the club under Grant McCann.

After a disappointing 2024–25 season in which he made just one competitive game during a brief emergency loan spell at Crawley, 22-year-old former French youth international Lo-Tutala is looking to repay lost time at Rovers.

Lo-Tutala had a successful loan stint under former Tigers manager Grant McCann and was a fan favourite while playing for Rovers in 2023–24. Only twice of his 20 Rovers games did he end up losing.

“I have a soft spot for the club, the manager, and the boys here,” stated Lo-Tutala, the team’s fifth summer acquisition. “I’ve been here before, I know the manager.”

“The fans were one of the main reasons why I enjoyed it so much last time with the support they gave me – not just myself, but all the boys as well, through the emotions that we went through that season. It was a special time.”

Dillon Phillips will join Hull City on July 1 after leaving Rotherham United.

McCann added: “Tim is an exceptional young goalkeeper who was outstanding for us in League Two.

“We are getting another great character to add to our changing room and a goalkeeper that fits our style perfectly.”
