Joe Wright, a former custodian for Huddersfield Town and Doncaster Rovers, has joined Bradford City as their second central defensive acquisition of the week.
Wright, 30, is a West Yorkshire native who has signed a two-year contract after having a stellar 2024–25 season with Kilmarnock of the SPL.
Wright played 36 games for Killie last season in all competitions, including qualifications for the Europa League and Champions League.
The towering 6ft 4in centre-half was named as the club’s player-of-the-year following an influential season with the Ayrshire outfit.
