Strong Tongan Konrad Hurrell has joined the Bradford Bulls on a two-week initial loan from Super League team St Helens, the team has confirmed.
Since making his NRL debut for the New Zealand Warriors in 2012, the 33-year-old has had a stellar career, making 100 games in the top tournament in the Southern Hemisphere.

The center’s impressive performances won him a transfer to Leeds Rhinos. He was well-known for his powerful hits off the ball and devastating carries with the ball.
He spent three years there before moving to the Totally Wicked Stadium, where he has won a League Leaders’ Shield, a Super League Grand Final and a World Club Challenge trophy.
Bulls head coach Brian Noble has hailed Hurrell’s arrival as a statement of intent from the Betfred Championship high-flyers.
He said: “It’s very exciting, as clearly Konrad has played at a high level of rugby league for a number of years.
“He is a Tongan international, he has played in the World All Stars and has made headlines wherever he has been, so for him to choose us is fantastic.
“He ticks those boxes (being a box office player) so I think the Bradford fans will be pleased.
“He has been out injured for a few weeks, but he is back fully fit and good to go.”
Noble added: “It shows the ambition of the board and our true ambitions for this year.
“We’ve seen a couple of players leave and we have picked up some injuries again, so it was important we filled the space with the right person.
“I don’t think we should hire someone who isn’t as good as what we already have.
Since there’s always a lot of chatter about gamers being content and wanting to play, we know Konrad can step in and make a difference.
“I am confident that Konrad can come in and make an impact, and he wants to play.”
