Goalie Thimothee Lo-Tutala of Hull City has officially joined Doncaster Rovers.
On a loan deal that is expected to last the entire 2025–2026 season, the 22-year-old returns to South Yorkshire. Having made 20 appearances during a tremendously successful run in the second part of the 2023–24 season, Lo-Tutala is no stranger to Doncaster.

During that initial stint, the goalie was a fan favourite, and his re-signing will undoubtedly be enthusiastically received by the supporters. With his arrival, Grant McCann’s goalkeeping staff is complete as they get ready to return to League One.

He will compete with Ian Lawlor, Jake Oram and Jacob Bryant and will wear squad number 29 during his second stint at Rovers.

“I’m buzzing to be back here,” said Lo-Tutala. “I’ve been here before, I know the manager and I have a real soft spot for the club, the manager and the boys here. It was a no-brainer for me.

“The support that the fans showed me—not just me, but all the boys as well—through the emotions that we had that season was a major factor in why I had such a great time the last time. It was a unique moment.

With Lo-Tutala’s signing, Rovers now have five summer additions. Free transfers have brought in defender Matty Pearson, midfielder Robbie Gotts, winger Glenn Middleton, and striker Brandon Hanlan.
