After a protracted pursuit, DONCASTER Rovers manager Grant McCann has expressed his happiness at having signed Glenn Middleton, a former Rangers and Dundee United winger.
The 25-year-old Middleton, who was born in Glasgow and played in 23 games for the Scotland Under-21 squad, has signed a two-year contract with the club offering an extension.
He is Rovers’ second summer recruit after Robbie Gotts, a former Leeds United midfielder, who will join when his contract at Barrow expires.
McCann said: “I’ve been tracking Glenn for quite a bit – even back to my first spell here, he was a player we really liked.
