According to a commentator, Brian Barry-Murphy, a former midfielder for Sheffield Wednesday, would “fit the mould” of the Huddersfield Town position.
After Michael Duff was fired, Jon Worthington was appointed as the club’s interim head coach and is currently in charge of the Terriers.

Since then, he has managed two victories and two losses, and Huddersfield is currently ranked seventh in League One.
There has been much conjecture about Duff’s long-term replacement, and Barry-Murphy has been mentioned.
The 46-year-old has held positions as manager of Manchester City’s Elite Development Squad and Rochdale since hanging up his boots.
He presently works at Leicester City as a member of the coaching staff under Ruud van Nistelrooy.
David Prutton, a pundit and former Leeds United midfielder, believes that Huddersfield would be wise to sign Barry-Murphy.
“Brian Barry-Murphy is very sought after; you see a lot of chat about him, given his ability as a number two,” he told Football League World.

Given the rumoured return of David Wagner and Paul Warne, he is yet another man who fits the template for Huddersfield Town.
He has a lot of experience, and based on what I’ve observed of his teams in person, they strongly resemble him.
“Like all managers, he needs to have a strong work ethic. He also needs to be able to start and finish games. Finally, his coaching resume would not be complete without the priceless experience he would have gained from a major football team like Leicester City.”
