Traffic was held on the M5 with significant delays after a crash. Motorists heading southbound were stopped between junctions 7 and 8, just to the north of Gloucestershire.
National Highways reports delays of around 40 minutes on the motorway after the crash which was reported at around 12.30pm on Sunday, May 11. Long queues have formed in the Gloucestershire-bound direction.
Traffic monitor Inrix reports: “All traffic being temporarily held and severe delays due to accident on M5 Southbound from J7 A44 (Worcester/Evesham) to J8 M50.”
According to Inrix, delays on the motorway cleared by around 2.10pm.
