Joao Pedro, a player for Hull City, has been seen travelling to Mexico to finalise his transfer to Atletico San Luis.
As they prepare for a better future, Hull City is entering yet another summer of transformation. After Ruben Selles guided them to safety, HCAFC made the contentious decision to fire him; Sergej Jakirovic is now in charge.
The Tigers are hoping to push far up the Championship table after a dismal 2024/25 campaign, and new additions will help Jakirovic make an impact.

However, departures are inevitable too, and one man widely expected to be moving on from the East Yorkshire outfit this summer is striker Joao Pedro.
Pictures of the Brazilian striker’s arrival in the Mexican city have surfaced on social media amid reports that he is moving from Hull City to Atletico San Luis.
Pedro is now expected to finish the procedures necessary for his transfer to North America after a deal was reached between HCAFC and the Liga MX team on Monday.
The cost of his move from Hull City to San Luis is not disclosed. The Tigers are, however, entitled to payment for the 33-year-old’s services because he has a contract that is valid for another year.
Pedro’s brief stay in Hull City
Pedro’s six goals and two assists in 36 games for Hull City last season may not have made headlines, but it was a number that no one else in their colours could match.
He was the starting striker for much of the campaign but found starts up top slightly harder to come by when Joe Gelhardt signed in January and hit the ground running.

Nonetheless, after a career where he has travelled across the globe and represented numerous clubs, Pedro now adds Mexico to his list of countries played in.
Pedro may not have been Hull City’s most productive striker, but the truth is that nobody else on the roster scored more goals in the previous campaign.
HCAFC knew they needed to strengthen their striker department going into the window, and now that the Italian is close to leaving, the demand for a new lucky charm has become even more.
It will be difficult for the Tigers recruitment team to find a new hotshot every window, but Jakirovic will be hoping he has strong support in his quest of a star striker.
