Zach Jebson from Hull FC has joined the GOOLE VIKINGS on loan through the end of the 2025 campaign.

The 21-year-old, who debuted for Hull FC in the Super League in 2023, will join the Vikings immediately.

Prior to switching codes, Jebson, who is originally from Hornsea, played rugby union in his youth and progressed through the Hull FC academy system.

After making his Black and Whites first-team debut against St Helens in July 2023, he went on to play in 11 Super League games and score one try.

Scott Taylor, the head coach of the Vikings, said: “We are happy to have Zach join the team; he fits right in.

“He’s a really good lad, has a fantastic work ethic, and is eager to learn and develop his game.

“Zach has performed admirably at Hull FC, but I believe he is another example of how a change of scenery and the pressure of playing rugby for the first team every week will truly help him develop as a player.”

He’s an athletic, fit back row forward who can switch to the front row or even out wide into the centres if necessary, Taylor added. We really benefit from his adaptability, and I’m eager to watch how he performs with us at this level.
