Seven-time Formula 1 winner Lewis Hamilton has been taken off guard in a puzzling move made by his Ferrari F1 team.
It has taken some adjusting for the 40-year-old to get comfortable at the Scuderia, with his debut season offering a mixed bag of results during the first five rounds of 2025.

Last time out, Hamilton only managed a P6 finish at the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix, while teammate Charles Leclerc secured the team’s first grand prix podium of the year by utilising his six years of expertise driving Ferrari machinery.
After a disappointing tripleheader, Hamilton was at a loss for words regarding how to do better, but don’t worry, there is still some joy in the Ferrari garage, as seen by their light-hearted antics on social media.
Teammates are shocked by the Ferrari F1 reserve’s new GP position.
Even though the British racing star seemed dejected during the Saudi Grand Prix weekend, Hamilton and teammate Charles Leclerc seemed to have a moment of happiness when they were surprised in the Ferrari garage.

As the duo focused on extracting the most out of their SF-25 last weekend, Ferrari’s F1 test and reserve driver Zhou Guanyu tried his hand as the team’s photographer and videographer, catching both Hamilton and Leclerc off guard in his new role behind the camera.
Zhou was seen capturing the driving pair as they ran back into the garage in a social media compilation shared by Ferrari and the former Formula One driver. The video captured their shocked emotions upon realising it was their teammate behind the lens.
Zhou used to ride for Sauber under the various rebrandings Alfa Romeo and Stake, but Ferrari welcomed their former academy driver back to the garage for the 2025 season, leaving him without a full-time position.
