This summer, Leyton Orient is eager to entice the goalie to come to England. When the next transfer window opens, LOFC will have the opportunity to strengthen their roster.
As things stand, Prior, 29, will become a free agent in late June after his contract expires at the end of the current campaign. If Livingston is promoted from the Scottish Championship, they reportedly have the option to extend his contract.
According to the Daily Record, Richie Wellens’ team is keeping an eye on him in this most recent development. At the moment, the London team is considering moving up from League One to the Championship.
With three games remaining, Leyton Orient is currently in sixth place in the standings. Along with Wrexham, Charlton Athletic, and Stockport County, they are in the playoffs.
Reading and Bolton Wanderers are pursuing the O’s, who defeated Barnsley 4-3 at home last time out. Prior to their final two league games against Wycombe Wanderers and Huddersfield Town, they will travel to Cambridge United on Easter Monday.
Leyton Orient target Livingston goalkeeper Jerome Prior

Prior might be able to improve Leyton Orient’s goalkeeping unit. Josh Keeley is now LOFC’s top player, however after his loan is up, he will return to Tottenham Hotspur.
This season, he has made 38 appearances across all competitions, 31 of them in the Scottish Championship. The goalie has maintained an outstanding 19 clean sheets for the team led by David Martindale.
Prior signed an initial one-year contract with Livingston in May of last year. Since then, he has adjusted to life in Scotland quite well.
The league his current club is in will probably determine their chances of keeping him. They are three points behind Falkirk and in second place in the league.
