Kyle Knoyle, a former Stockport County defender, has agreed to a two-year contract with Mansfield Town.
After helping Stockport get to the League One playoffs, the 28-year-old was released as a free agent.
After arriving from Doncaster Rovers for an unknown amount in January 2023, Knoyle played 81 games in two and a half years and was a mainstay of the County team that won the League Two championship last year.
The youthful West Ham player has also had notable stints at Cambridge United and Swindon Town.
He is the second new player to join the Stags this week following the arrival of Millwall custodian Liam Roberts, and the fourth to join this summer.

“We’ve played against Kyle a lot in the last few seasons,” Mansfield manager Nigel Clough stated on the team’s external website.
“He will be a good competitor in those positions because he offers us a lot of versatility on the right side, whether it is at centre-back, right-back, or wing-back.
“He knows this league inside out and has played a big part in Stockport’s success.”
