According to rumours, Sporting CP striker Viktor Gyokeres has already agreed to his next transfer, meaning Manchester United would likely miss out on him.
Ahead of the summer transfer window, the forward has been one of the key players connected to a move to Old Trafford. After being signed from Coventry City, Gyokeres collaborated with Ruben Amorim in Portugal.

Gyokeres scored 43 goals in 43 games this season, continuing his remarkable goal-scoring form from his stellar debut season at Sporting, where he scored 43 goals in 50 games. Given that United and several other elite teams are interested, it is anticipated that he will leave Lisbon in the summer.
With Rasmus Hojlund and Joshua Zirkzee underperforming, United is in dire need of offensive reinforcements. According to recent rumours, Amorim’s team had looked at other choices, with Liam Delap and Victor Osimhen appearing to be more likely to leave.
According to Correio da Manha, the 26-year-old has “already given a yes” to the concept that Arsenal’s recently hired sporting director Andrea Berta proposed to him. The story goes on to say that Berta’s decision to give the Sweden international priority was a key factor in the potential transfer.

Sporting CP still needs to complete a financial package, but it’s been stated that he may be available for between £50 million and £60 million, which is less than his reported £83.6 million release clause.
Sporting is reportedly planning to announce his departure in July, in part to keep everyone focused on their title challenge with Benfica and to enable them to make the deal in the upcoming fiscal year.
In other news, center-forwards are still being connected to United. Although they are not the only ones who have expressed desire in moving to Manchester, Hugo Ekitike and Delap, a forward for Ipswich, are two names that are frequently mentioned.
