Nathan Lowe, a teenage striker, has always been regarded highly by Stoke City. He has experienced senior action with the Potters and was a standout in the SCFC academy.
However, he announced himself as a star on the senior stage during a loan with Walsall over the first half of the 2024/25 campaign before his much-debated recall.
The 19-year-old is now expected to sign a fresh loan agreement this summer after making little impact under Mark Robins for the rest of the season.
The Bucks Free Press now claims that interest in the Stoke City star is growing.
Wycombe Wanderers and Huddersfield Town are two of the teams vying for Lowe’s services this summer. As they prepare for a push for promotion the following season, the Terriers and the Chairboys are leading the chase.
Although it is unclear where he will go, Lowe’s contract with SCFC is set to expire in the summer of 2028, and it is quite possible that he will be granted a new loan at a time of transition at the Bet365 Stadium.
Stoke City saw Lowe star at Walsall over the first half of the season and when recalled, it was expected that he would find regular starting opportunities with the Potters.
And, he did find those early on. In fact, Lowe started four of the first five Championship games after his recall, even scoring in his first match back against West Brom.

However, he would only start once more and minutes proved few and far between after that first month.
The call was detrimental to Lowe given how he was thriving away from SCFC, and Walsall will likely hold a grudge for some time given how it impacted them. The next Lowe call the Potters make must be the right one, after their January decision proved unfruitful for all.
League One loan a logical step?
After 18 goals and seven assists in 30 games for Walsall in League Two, it seems logical that Lowe heads to a League One side next.
In Huddersfield Town and Wycombe Wanderers, the Stoke City prospect has two admirers who have intentions of fighting it out for promotion next season.
That environment could be valuable for Lowe, but the priority has to be getting him as much game time as possible. Whoever can offer him that should stand a good chance of striking a deal.
