Bradford Bulls have expressed their condolences following the death of Brian Sunderland, of club sponsor 39 Steps Consulting.
“We are deeply saddened to learn of the recent passing of Brian Sunderland, who formed part of long-time sponsors 39 Steps Consulting,” Bulls stated in a Facebook post.
“Brian was an enormous supporter and close friend of the club, as seen in the red polo at a sponsors event in 2023.
“Our thoughts and condolences are with Brian’s nearest and dearest at this difficult time.”
Bulls CEO Jason Hirst paid tribute personally, saying: “Great bloke, who’ll I’ll miss at Odsal. RIP & sympathies to all his family.”
“Such sad news to hear, sending my condolences and love to your family and dear friends,” wrote Bulls supporter Maria Censani in another heartfelt post.
“Brian you were an absolute gentleman and I will never forget the day you made my little girl’s wishes come true, and gave her a day to remember forever, her favourite seat was next to you.”
