

Non league supporters will know that sometimes the best part of the day isn’t the game itself; it’s the travelling to distant grounds with fellow fans and checking out the local pubs and craft ale bars.
Saturday was definitely one of those days, because the football that Peckham Town served up was absolutely abysmal, with the team being outplayed, outperformed and outmuscled by – literally – a team of schoolboys.
But that’s not to take away anything from Ramsgate Athletic who thoroughly deserved their 4-1 win.
The afternoon started so well, with some fine drinks at the The Conqueror Micro Pub in Ramsgate.
And so to the ground and the pun-tastic ‘Legends Wall.’
