Zak Bradshaw, a defender for Lincoln City, has agreed to a two-year contract with Cambridge United.
Despite not playing for the Imps, Bradshaw was still bound by his contract, but the clubs have reached an agreement on a free transfer.

The 21-year-old made 27 League Two games, 11 of which were starts, while on loan at Tranmere Rovers during the previous season.
“I’m prepared to get my career off to a good start. I want to be able to call a place home now that I’ve accrued a lot of games and loans,” Bradshaw remarked.
On August 2, Cambridge will host Cheltenham Town to begin the new season.
Since being demoted from League One, they have now added five summer additions.

Regarding Bradshaw, manager Neil Harris stated: “He is a young player with a lot of potential, but he has already played football in League Two.”
“He adds real competition for places across the defensive unit and we look forward to working with Zak to enable him to grow into a player that has a long-term future at the club.”
